NEPN – The Social - 2013
The Social: Encountering Photography, was a month long international celebration of photography across the North East of England from 18 October – 16 November 2013. Throughout its four-week programme of exhibitions, talks, tours and debates, The Social sought to provide new opportunities for audiences to engage with high quality lens-based practice in ways that are accessible and relevant.
We worked with the event’s curators the North East Photography Network to build upon the brand structure we had created for them a year earlier and rollout a sub-brand iteration which immediately spoke of its relationship to its parent organisation. This visual language was then applied across a microsite, programme guide publication, interpretation panels, way finding material and large format print to create a coherent and recognisable identity which was visible whilst existing in quiet complement to the artworks.
