National Football Museum – Out Of Play - 2015
Out Of Play is the art, technology and learning programme at National Football Museum which encompasses exhibitions, art commissioning, artist residencies, public events and formal learning activities. An emphasis is placed on digital art and new technology to reflect the interactive nature of the National Football Museum and the desire of visitors to participate and engage.
We worked with Out Of Play’s curator and programme manager to define a fluid structure with which to relate overarching programming seasons, and the constituent events, projects, artworks and residencies. Expanding upon the existing National Football Museum brand guidelines, we developed a randomised graphic scheme based on patterns and colours from key world cup team kits to reflect the international scope of the programme’s contributors and cultural focus.
