a-n The Artists Information Company stimulates and supports contemporary visual arts practice and affirms artists’ value in society. Established in 1980 and with over 19,000 members, they focus on conversations around the critical and professional environment for the visual arts, bringing together artists, art students, producers, arts professionals, researchers, arts organisations and universities.

Part of an ongoing series of projects, we were invited to develop a flexible illustrative style to encapsulate the broad range of programmes and opportunities a-n provides. The aesthetic is immediate and elemental, neither hyper corporate nor naive, and the system can expand as needed to reflect the organisations evolving offer. The illustrations are intended to work across a broad range of applications including advertising, social channels, publication design and assets for partner sites.
